The background

The premier technical conference of its kind, having run for over a decade, EPMC is a well-known name within the metrology industry.

For many years, Apex has been responsible for promoting and growing this extremely important event, attracting like-minded delegates and exhibitors from across the globe.

EPMC 2018 was held in the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, the home to Coventry City Football Club and The Wasps Rugby Club. And, once again, Apex was responsible for making sure the two-day event was a resounding success.

• Undertaking all aspects of venue management prior, during and after the event
• Creating and managing a dedicated website for the event
• Producing and maintaining a dedicated webpage for delegate registration and payments
• Organising and facilitating committee meetings and teleconferences
• Effective online marketing and promotion of the event. This included creating regular updates to promote EPMC 2018 via social media platforms and the event website as well as designing and distributing regular emails to promote the event
• Exhibitor and sponsor management both prior to and during the event
• The production and design of professional delegate name badges

• Speaker management and agenda development (the conference element is designed to be informative, topical and educational to stimulate further debate and to inspire ongoing personal development)
• Designing and sourcing the production of event collateral, including bags, pads and pens
• Managing on-site delegate registration and payment systems on the day of the event
• Providing and overseeing all aspects of AV & production 
• Designing, producing and maintaining floorplans through to the build
• Providing a holistic event management service before, during, and after EPMC 2018; making sure that the project was a resounding success.
