Dynamic Nord Exhibition Stand

The Brief
To design and build a visually striking and sustainable exhibition stand for Dynamic Nord at the Go Diving Show 2026, while also accommodating their retail partner, Dive Rutland.
The space needed to function as both a brand showcase and a retail environment, effectively creating two distinct, yet cohesive areas within one stand. A key requirement was to align the design with Dynamic Nord’s strong sustainability values, particularly their commitment to reducing plastic waste in the ocean.

What we did
Our approach focused on creating a clean, immersive environment that balanced product and brand visibility, with sustainability at the core of every decision.
- We designed a flexible stand layout that clearly defined the Dynamic Nord brand presence alongside the Dive Rutland retail space, allowing both to operate seamlessly while maintaining a cohesive visual identity.
- Sustainability was central to the build, and a key focus for this project was the extensive reuse of existing stand elements, reinforcing both our client’s and Apex’s commitment to more sustainable exhibiting. A large proportion of the stand structure and features were repurposed from previous shows, reducing waste while maintaining a high-quality finish.
- This included the reuse of bespoke product display systems, such as serving and display counters, mannequin plinths, hanging rails (specifically engineered to support the weight of multiple dry suits), and even integrated features like the changing rooms. By designing these elements for longevity, the stand continues to evolve while minimising environmental impact.
- Sustainability was further brought to life through the use of specially made recycled acrylic displays, including bespoke dive watch and regulator showcases. These not only highlighted key products but also provided a tangible representation of Dynamic Nord’s environmental ethos.
- The stand design prioritised openness and accessibility, with wide entry points encouraging visitors to step on and explore. Product displays, including mannequins, shelving and feature plinths, created a natural flow through the space while highlighting the breadth of the product range.
- Large-format graphics and illuminated lightboxes brought the underwater world to life, creating an immersive backdrop that reflected the brand’s identity and captured attention from across the hall.
The result was a visually impactful, sustainability-led exhibition space that successfully supported both brand awareness and on-stand engagement, by combining thoughtful design with the reuse of key elements and sustainable materials.
The stand also demonstrated how exhibition environments can evolve responsibly over time.
